Four schools in the Alliance are currently involved in this project run by the NCTL. This is one of the largest research projects of its kind and involves over 750 schools across the country.
The goal of the project is to help improve the evidence-base for what works in closing the attainment gap (CTG) for disadvantaged pupils and also to stimulate robust research and development in schools. The scheme should also strengthen relationships between schools and higher education institutions.
Four Alliance schools are involved in the project: Moor End Academy, Honley High School, Spring Grove Primary School and the Batley Business and Enterprise College.
